Taemin’s Ephemeral Show & a #SlowWebSeptemberChallenge

Many moons ago, I decided I was going to explore the slow web again this year, and actually work on a personal blog. That effort has been kind of hit and miss. Work and life and all my other online projects took my time and energy, and I’ve neglected this space. I feel a bit sad that I haven’t chosen to make time for it.

SO, as it’s the 1st of September, I’ve decided to challenge myself to write here every day for a month and see where it leads. I’m calling it my #SlowWebSeptemberChallenge. Sometimes the posts will be short and silly. Other times I might actually write or research something more deeply. The main thing is I’ll post and try to rediscover that blogging habit I had back in the early 2000s.

To kick off, I’m going easy on myself and sharing a playlist from the online concert I watched today.

Taemin onstage in the second show of the Ephemeral Gaze tour

Taemin started his Ephemeral Gaze World Tour at Inspire Arena in Incheon this weekend, and it was so much fun to watch Day 2 online.

The setlist was cool, and also a little bit surprising. Lots of tracks from Eternal (his new album) and all the classics, but fun to see him perform Clockwork live for the first time. And I’d forgotten how much I like Goodbye.

The production was epic as usual – not a lot of stage machinery this time, but great use of light and vcrs. I’m really hoping we get to see this show online again towards the end of the tour when he’s found its rhythm and all the flourishes.

Check out the setlist as a playlist here:

Seeya tomorrow!
